Football Player Eligibility

Practice Schedule

Summer practice will begin on or about August 1.

Summer practices are typically held Monday through Thursday between 6:00pm - 8:00pm.

All players should arrive at Memorial Park or Hutchinson Field at the start of practice and be ready to start on time.  Remember to bring plenty of water and apply bug spray and sunscreen as needed before practice begins.

Each year, the first 5 practices of the season will be conditioning, which means helmets only.  This is to get all players acclimated and ready to play in full pads.  This is mandatory - if your player misses one of these days, they can not practice in full pads, until they have completed the 5 days of conditioning.

After Labor Day, teams will continue to practice 2 nights per week with a walkthrough on Saturday mornings for the remainder of the season. Practice days will be determined by the team.

Behavior Policy

All players are expected to adhere to the code of conduct.

Fighting, intimidation, bullying, use of illegal substances (including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, and vaping by minors), or disrespect for authority by any player or parent during practices, games, or Mansfield Youth Football & Cheer functions will not be tolerated. These activities may result in suspension up to removal from the Mansfield Youth Football & Cheer program without refund.

Please remember that each player is representing Mansfield Youth Football & Cheer and the Town of Mansfield. Players and parents should always conduct themselves in a proper manner and display good sportsmanship to the organization, team members, coaches, and opposing teams.

We need you...

Mansfield Youth Football & Cheer is an all-volunteer organization.  We always need volunteers and there are many different ways you can contribute to making a difference – coaching, fundraising, or as a team parent.  If everyone does a little it goes a long way!

Please let us know where you can volunteer.
